Beautycounter just came out with a Purifying Charcoal Mask. This mineral-rich mix of kaolin clay and charcoal is the best mask I have ever used. Hands. Down.
The mask comes a 2.75oz bottle for $45. Don't let that scare you because a tiny bit goes a long way. You only need a little more than the size of a quarter to cover your whole face. It goes on very smooth and isn't super thick like most face masks. It's black when you put it on and dries gray. It takes about 10 minutes to dry completely then you just rinse it off with warm water. It comes off very easily and very quickly. The mask works to exfoliate, draw out impurities, and sooth. My face felt extremely soft and squeaky clean after the mask. I highly recommend this!
Purifying Charcoal Mask
Hi! My name is Sara. S-a-r-a, no h because h's are ewwww (I love Jimmy Fallon's SNL "Ew!" skit) I created this blog as an eye opener to the harmful chemicals found in our beauty products. Two years ago the eyelashes in my right eye fell out. Do you know what it's like to look at someone without eyelashes? Scary! I went to the doctor, got a prescription, and they grew back. Then they fell out again. That's when I decided to learn more about the ingredients in my makeup and skincare.
